Tattoo Aftercare
At Paradise, we use a medical-grade, transparent, adhesive barrier that protects new tattoos while they are healing. It is latex-free, waterproof, breathable, and hypoallergenic. It is manufactured under quality-controlled conditions that have been CE-marked and FDA-registered.
The first seven days are a crucial time when it comes to healing a tattoo. The bandage will protect the tattoo from bacteria and debris, while also helping to save clothes and linens from ink and blood.
WHAT TO DO
1- We recommend leaving the bandage on for 48 hours. It will get filled with secretions like ink, blood and lymphatic fluid. It is totally normal and will not affect the tattoo.
2- Remove the bandage while in the shower by slowly pulling away from the tattoo.
3- Wash the area with a fragrance free soap and lots of water. Any soap with a neutral PH or for sensitive skin should be fragrance free.
4- Pat dry the tattooed area with a clean paper towel.
5- Apply a thin layer of unscented lotion once a day. Don’t over do it. The less you touch it the better
WHAT TO AVOID
1- During the healing, the tattoo will get itchy, DO NOT scratch it or pick the scabs off.
2- Avoid submerging it in water. ( pool, hot tub, lake, bath, etc) A shower is fine, because it’s clean running water.
3- Do not apply anything else on it than what we recommend.
