At Paradise, we love piercing little ones!

We offer earlobe piercing services for kids starting at the age of 4 years old. An aspect that is very important to us when piercing children is that they are able to express for themselves their desire to get pierced. We want to be able to have a conversation with them to make sure they understand the process as well as aftercare. For some people that can be possible at 4 years old, for others the moment won’t come until they are 8 or 12 years old. And that is okay! It is very important to not rush the process. We HIGHLY recommend using numbing cream, it can be purchased at the studio.

Piercing guns are never a safe option for any piercing. Therefore, we only use sterile equipment and single-use needles for any procedure to ensure the safety and comfort of the process. Click here to find out more about the dangers of piercing guns. We recommend reading our aftercare with your child prior to booking your appointment! This will give them a chance to get familiar with the routine they will have to follow for the following months.

An important thing to consider before getting your child’s earlobes pierced is that there are certain lifestyle restrictions for the first few weeks following the piercing. Any sport that involves possible contact with the earlobes as well sports that requires headgear, like helmets, cannot be practiced within at least a month after the piercing (this time frame can take longer and is variable from person to person). The same restrictions applies to any swimming activities. So make sure that their schedule will allow them to have at least a month off those kinds of activities!
